Mediocrity

Is  this a cultural thing? Or we are just plain lazy. Seems like we are okay with things that are not really okay.

First, I asked the IT Department to fix this, they said I should just tell the maintenance staff of the building.  Or maybe because we are used to seeing the dangerous things and not acting on it. This is just one of the many cases of behaving and accepting as if everything is acceptable. 

If I wanted to have a different attitude with the rest who is okay with mediocrity, why am I not doing anything about this?

Well then, I have to change my ways. Even if it means having to drag my butt to accomplish this. Well, many times, I am just lazy too. Sadly.
