Happy Thanksgiving America!

Today is Thanksgiving Day in the US.

I wonder how it is being celebrated. When there are fiestas in the Philippines, a stranger can visit a home and she/he will be welcome to have lunch or dinner with them even in remote places.

If I am a backpacker in the US, would local people invite me to their house too? The way Filipinos welcome foreign visitors in their home during fiestas?

Will they?.....
