Mental Struggle is Real

The feeling of hopelessness is severe in other people. We will not know the level of how they suffer, until such time that they snap out of it. Today's news of Jarrid's death is a message that no one is immune to life's mental struggles, even if you are a man or a woman of faith. 

This tragic news had me and my colleague chatting and her confiding of suicidal thoughts. In the end, she shared a beautiful realization for me:

"Psychologically, a part of them knows that killing themselves is not good, but it's just the emotional burden is way too heavy for them that they became irrational and because of that heavy load in their heart, the love of God become less valued. Our role is to let ourselves be an instrument of God's love for them.", she shared.

What an afternoon to hear someone's encouraging words during lunch break.
