Birthday Leave But at Home (5 of 365)

Due to this pandemic, I have not been away much. The previous years, I always go out of Bohol to celebrate my birthday alone, in a far away place. Now, I cannot go anywhere. Sad but not that affected too. I still felt that it's safer that I am at home.

Every year too, we have a chance to avail our Birthday Leave, something that we can use within 30 days from our birth date. I chose 15th so I can still be with my mother in the morning.

Though my mind was traveling in a far away place, my heart is at peace too, knowing that I'm at home and I was able to cook my mother some soup for her food today.

I am torn :'(
