MORON and Magsaysay - An Afternoon Delight ;)

 

This is called "moron". Maybe a funny word for English-speaking people.  But this is a pretty common snacks in the province of Leyte, in the Philippines. It was a surprise to have this food, this afternoon. Courtesy of our beloved Area Managers James and Ritchell. How thoughtful of them to give this to us. In fact, not just this one but also another type called "Magsaysay". I don't know the origin of its name. Because Magsaysay is like a man's last name. I even mentioned to Ritchell that I never noticed this type of snacks before. And she said it is only on per order basis, not always made available to sell.

Well, it was very sweet and gooey with its chocolate filling. You will definitely need black and bitter coffee to gulp it down with. LOL.
